Secretary for DEVEST
About the job
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Secretary to provide administrative support to our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, handling emails and phone calls, and maintaining records. The Secretary must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails in a timely and professional manner
Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for multiple staff members
Organizing and coordinating meetings, including booking conference rooms and arranging for catering and other logistics
Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes
Drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files, both electronic and paper-based
Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory levels
Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Performing other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is a plus
Proven experience as a secretary or administrative assistant
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software and equipment
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
Salary and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and other perks depending on company policy.
