1 – Business Planning and Analysis Reporting Manager
About the job
BP&A manager is responsible for preparing the needed reports that are used to monitor and analyse the performance of the business in details, this would help in preparing the models for acquisitions, sales, runoffs, attrition and balances that will lead to the final plan and the forecast and valid assumptions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare the Plan
Work closely with products team on their key assumptions for their sales/revenues/expenses and apply these assumptions to the Plan models and submit the planned volumes and balances to finance team
- Prepare quarterly forecasts

- Track performance vs. Plan
This is mainly done through daily, weekly, and monthly tracking using reports generated from the BO and comparing the results vs. The MTD and YTD plan and communicating this to the Consumer team
- Analyse sales and financials
This is done by analysing the components of the balances for each product like for example on assets we need to know which scheme did we sell on and the runoffs of the base and if there is any spikes in the normal trends and investigate with the products team the reason for such spikes, also on the financials in terms of revenues and expenses, this is tracked line by line.
- Finalize branch MEPs(Major Expenditure Plans)
MEPs are the financials of the new branches that will be opened or the ones that will be renovation, the process requires working closely with finance and premises team to generate a full 3 years plan for the new or renovated branch that shows the breakeven and payback months.
- Data mining and extraction of various customer and products reports
Work on the data mining tools to produce reliable reports that would help in understanding the business trends and comparing actual numbers against plan.
Also reports that would help in monitoring and understanding the customer base and behaviour.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly tracking reports for the business
Frequent tracking sheets are one of the main responsibilities of the reporting manager, and the daily ones are very important as it keeps both product owners and the channels in a constant alert mode for any changes I the business that allows them to solve any issue or recognise any good performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
University/College Degree.
8-10 Years of experience in planning and analysis, modelling and general finance understanding, also a very good knowledge with:
Spread sheets (MS office excel)
Experience to demonstrate with good communication skills
Strong analytical skills and observation to trends
Fair finance background
MS access data base
Sass System
BO Ssytem
Job specific Skills:
Maintain the actuals performance vs. the plan and make sure of the tracking methods and reports are correct.
Advise on problems with the performance and solutions for such problems.
Strong technical knowledge of the tools that are used for modelling and tracking.
Generic Skills:
Communicate effectively with the concerned parties in addressing the plan and the actual results.
Ability to analyse business numbers in terms of sales and financials.

2 – Corporate Sales Manager/Sr Manager (Consumer Banking)

To deliver exceptional retail business performance through sales performance, excellent customer servicing, query resolution.
Receive customer complaints, record it and take all reasonable steps to resolve the complaint in the eyes of our customers..
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
o Establish, build and maintain long term business relationship with target affluent retail customers.
o Responsible to grow sales, market share and effectively execute bank @ work strategy, plans and initiatives.
o Interface closely with the corporate bank to acquire and penetrate existing corporate relations.
o Manage key relationships at the most senior level to ensure penetration and deepening of cross sell opportunities with these organizations through the execution of an effective sales process.
o Performing professional sales presentations to the organization most senior level using an effective sales pitch.
o Provide personalized service.
o Satisfy B@W clients on-going financial planning needs identified by self or Account Executive through the sale of appropriate products and services
o Establish and develop sales opportunities to meet the client’s needs, introducing and working in conjunction with B@W segment specialists
o Manage the client ( companies & individual ) portfolio, making proactive contact on a regular basis and meeting clients at their convenience
o Generate leads and sales by building effective working relationships with branches, Corporate Sector etc.
o Generate referred business by encouraging existing clients to make recommendations.
o Ensure that targeted level of business results (i.e. income, costs, client satisfaction and client recruitment) for jobholder’s own portfolio are maintained
o Adhere to standards, legal and regulatory, in accordance with the ADIB guidelines and Head of sector instructions.
o And any other assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
From 6-10 Years of experience out of which 4 of them with a sales background in a multinational or regional bank.
Generic Skills:
Experience of managing sales team is an addition.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of competitor and market activity in local cluster.
In – depth understanding of the full range of products, Small Business Services and an overview of Corporate.
An understanding of technical support system.
Good understanding of Risk Policy.
Detailed understanding of ADIB Retail Strategy, operating structure and interface with other functions
People Management.
Communication and Presentation
Commercial Awareness.
Management of performance.
Mobility is a key aspect of the role. The jobholder will operate at the most convenient location for his/her portfolio.
