ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT for Medochemie Ltd
Medochemie Ltd is an International Pharmaceutical Company headquartered in Cyprus. Medochemie manufactures a wide range of products divided into more than 10 therapeutic categories, owns 4355 marketing authorizations, and operates in more than 107 countries around the world. Our thirteen separate manufacturing sites are designed to fully comply with European and WHO current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
Medochemie Ltd invites career-oriented professionals to apply for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant based in Cairo. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative and other supportive tasks related to the office operations and the Area Commercial Director.
Duties:
Provide general administrative support inclusive and not limited to: scheduling meetings, coordinating staff activities, events, and activations, maintain calendars, collate, and distribute mails, meetings agendas, minutes of meetings, along with maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical.
First point of contact for any requests related to office management and administrative tasks.
Support interoffice communication through preparing reports, memos, invoices, and other correspondence.
Coordinate travel arrangements either with our local travel office in the HQ, or other vendors across the region.
Support colleagues during travel and ensure seamless arrangement from travel requests to departure and expenses reconciliation.
Manage local purchases and procurement activities in cooperation with the finance team in Egypt.
Respond effectively to other administrative requests and tasks as required by the Area Commercial Director of MENA region.
This position reports to Area Commercial Director of Mena Region.
Qualifications:
Education level to bachelor degree in relevant major is essential.
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a multinational company; regional exposure will be considered as an advantage.
Solid administrative experience.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry is necessary.
High proficiency in Office.
Excellent business writing skills to compose correspondence or reports.
Fluency in English language.
Customer-service mindset and good problem solving skills.
