1 – RISK SCORING OFFICER
Job Purpose
To support the assessing of current applied risk models outputs, performing quantitative analysis and coordinating with key functions including vendors, risk management, respective business and information technology that would assist in developing and enhancing the quantitative risk models.
Description
Risk Scoring Implementation
- Perform statistical and quantitative advanced techniques analysis to maintain predictive models for consumer lending, scorecards, and decision-tree based on customer segmentation schemes, profiling analyses, and customer/facility segmentation schemes
- Support the statistical analysis through providing all required data to use the Statistical Analysis System (SAS), SQL, and MS Excel tools that would result in enhancing and developing risk models
- Perform credit risk scores, consumer lending and life cycle of credit product principles to test, document, enhance and optimize credit risk models and performance
- Maintain accuracy of the technical documentation system for applied methodologies and applications, including project plans, model descriptions and data analysis
- Provide all required data to support the analysis and interpretation of models results that would assist in recommending updates to existing risk models and metrics
Policies, processes and procedures - Implement approved department policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Day to day operations - Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job in the Risk Infrastructure & Control department to ensure continuity of work
Compliance - Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and
code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
2 – SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Description
Implement all the assigned development related activities and all required documentation to fulfil business requirements.
Update the relevant IT stakeholder with the developed tasks and shares analysis to assess business requirements.
Perform the daily technical support tasks and handle the service desk raised tickets related to the developed modules to properly close and reply to customer and user issues
Report incidents to IT service desk and support in generating monthly reports of all detected and resolved issues to maintain tracking history.
Adhere to the agreed upon strategy during development life cycles of all Applications/services from initial analysis to implementation, including providing guidance and assistance to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), for any consequent feedback/iterations, to ensure smooth transition and integration of systems to business areas.
Participate in resolving re-occurring Business/department incidents related to systems to ensure smooth workflow and efficient system utilization.

Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day- to-day operations
Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Application Management, Development & Digital Solutions department to ensure continuity of work.
Compliance
Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risk
