An Accountant, plays a crucial role in our finance team, responsible for executing various accounting tasks with precision and attention to detail. This position requires a good understanding of accounting principles, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
Responsibilities:
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Handle all transactions (cash, credit or cheques) with customers.
Ensure pricing is correct.
Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
Keep reports for all completed transactions during the month.
Deal with customers to handle any request to ensure their satisfaction.
Responsible for work processes that affect the success of own role and contribute to the overall performance of the department.
Ensure timely banking of cash receipts.
Ensure that adequate control and follow up on outstanding cash and controls is in place.
Work under general supervision with regular review and guidance from direct supervisor.

Job Requirements
Qualifications required for the position:
Education: High Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
Years of experience: 1-3 years.
English level: good.
Computer skills: good.
Previous experience in automotive industry is preferable.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles is preferable.
