Patient Relation Officer for Sphinx Kidney Center

Job Brief:
We are looking for a coordinator for the international patients department, they will listen to patients and their families to ensure needs are being addressed, educate patients on medical procedures or conditions, keep patient records up to date and act as a liaison between the patient and healthcare personnel by keeping communication lines open.

Job Description:
Arrange concierge services for the international clients ( Airport pick up, hotel booking, etc)
Answer patient calls, emails and questions
Confidentially manage patient accounts
Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing
Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient
Work as a team player to ensure each patient receives the best service possible
Schedule any necessary outpatient appointments
Get prior authorizations for procedures

Scan documents into patient charts
Meet with patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, medications, and continuing care.
Assist care team with setting goals for quality assurance and best practices
work closely with the accounting department regarding the invoices and quotation for the international clients.
Treat patients with empathy and respect while conducting oneself in a professional manner
Check-in on patients regularly and evaluate and document their progress
Writing medical reports

Job Requirements:
Graduate with a bachelor degree (No need for a medical background)
Fluency in English both writing and speaking
Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Excellent customer service skills to provide ongoing support for patients and their families
Effective verbal and written communication skills
